The 35-member Bucks County Singers of Newtown (Bucks County), Pennsylvania is under the director of Terry Boyle-Greenland, with guest accompanist Patricia Guth. The mixed-voice choral group of men and women will present a program of eclectic choral offerings, including well-known standards, pop, Broadway showtunes, and patriotic pieces, many related to their spring concert theme “What a Wonderful World!”. Always a favorite with Ocean City audiences, Bucks County Singers employs the use of clever “riser choreography” as they sing, providing yet another dimension to their already exciting and enthusiastic musical offerings. From September through May, the choir presents approximately 10 concerts in the Greater Philadelphia area, entertaining at retirement communities, singing for service organizations, and performing at local festivals. In addition, Bucks County Singers is the host of the annual “Voices of Bucks”, a gala event that brings together the talents of several choirs from the Bucks County area, including both school and community groups. The performance will take place outside the Ocean City Music Pier at 6pm. For more information, contact Rita Enders, President, Bucks County Singers, at 215-741-1283.
